Apple Distinguished Education Program
Washington Middle School has been named as the state’s first recipient of the Apple Distinguished Education Program award. Monte Rector, Director of Education for Apple in 25 US states, presented the award to Superintendent Dr. Rick Wyckoff and Washington Middle School administrators at tonight’s Board of Education meeting. The Apple Distinguished program award is given to schools that demonstrate visionary leadership, innovative learning and teaching, ongoing professional learning, compelling evidence of success, and flexible learning environments.
